Restarting our economy will not be a simple “do as we have always done”.

The word “unprecedented” has been thrown around a lot, and for good reason: these are unproven, never experienced economic times. As you enjoy your lunch today, I want to chat about what we need to do about the Infrastructure and Eco System associated with Smart (intelligent) cities and buildings where we work, play, live, and learn.

I started my career making television receiving tubes at General Electric – construction products and telecom equipment for NEDCO and Northern Telecom (NORTEL), the C64 Home Computer at Commodore Business Machines  and many other technology activities in my career. Yes, COVID 19 is a new one.

True to my beliefs, we will examine PEOPLE. PROCESS. TECHNOLOGY. as it applies to cities and buildings. People are at the heart of the success and failure of all business decisions…
